Generic Name: Antihemophilic Factor VIII (Recombinant)

Indications: Helixate FS is indicated for the treatment of classical hemophilia (Hemophilia A) in which there is a demonstrated deficiency of activity of the plasma clotting factor FVIII, Helixate FS provides a means of temporarily replacing the missing clotting factor in order to prevent bleeding episodes, or in order to perform emergency or elective surgery in hemophiliacs.

How Supplied: Factor products are supplied in vials sizes of varying International Units (iu). Vial sizes (iu sizes) may change with each new lot of product manufactured. Vial sizes may range from approximately 200 - 1500 iu per vial.
